Greetings fellow foodie's and music lovers!

For many years during the 90's my wife and I both played in bands, living a very erratic schedule that played havok with your mind and body. Now, everyone's heard the stories of the struggling musician, and we were no exception, always pooling our money together to buy what little food we could to concoct something that resembled a meal. It was an experience that I will always hold dear, the friends and good times have made me who I am today.

After the birth of our first son in 2001, I became interested in cooking, not just to survive, but to produce meals that were tasty, nutritious and cost effective.

There is always music playing in our house and my two boys know no different, they love music too. So, it's no surprise that when I cook, I just have to have the tunes pumping, friends and family around...and always a nice cold beer or red wine while the magic happens.

Remember, the kitchen is always the place where people congregate at parties, social gatherings etc to enjoy one anothers company, so why not make use of it and create something people will walk away from talking about until the next time they come over!
